March 2006
We've had a request from a guild member, also the mother of a soldier with the C Company, 116th Infantry Battalion, 29th Infantry Division. The Division will be deploying to Kosovo in late November 2006. The unit commander said they would greatly appreciate helmet liners to help combat the Kosovo's cold winters. The helmet liners must be black in 100% wool. There are about 120 men in the unit. No women because they serve in combat units. Many of the young soldiers are students and will be taking leave from school. If you would like to participate, please use this pattern helmetliners.
